IronMan Coeur d"Alene

We have our poster schedule and because we are required to be at our gate from  sun up to sun down, only one of us can go and watch. My wife will be at Fighting Creek for the bike part of the race, because they'll be riding up and back by there. Super excited she is, my wife has done many mini ironman races in her pass youth. Look for the post with pictures - this event takes place June 23rd and we wish all safe adventures.

Highway 95 South from Northwest blvd to
Missile Base Road (5 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

Traffic on US95 will be impacted by the Ironman

Coeur d'Alene city by Lake Fun

It was a beautiful day. We didn't have much money but made the most of it for sure.
                                                           http://coeurdalene.org/

We did chat with the greeter but her attention span was about the next person coming in. Friendly but very robot like. The gentleman you see ROCKS - he is a business owner who has a banquet room. Sorry I don't remember the name of his business, I sure wish we did, because he was so friendly.

Main street a lot of bars, but a lot of friendly folks down here from all over the world I may add.

My wife will read any plaque there is. And I am glad she is like this because well??

This artist and I share the same last name - and one better, my newphew name! Which by the way is an awesome kid (love you Jason - GO HEAT).

Our hearty congrats to the real Jason Sanchez - awesome work and we hope this sells for you!!

Skippers

In CDA and kicking back and having fun. With all sorts of fun going on, we must eat. Today, we got brave and tried out Skippers  http://skippers.com/ for the first time ever. Now the one thing, our readers must understand is that we are major seafood SNOBS. It passes but not by far. The soup taste like, bread crumbs but its not super terrible. The fish special is small, and I even ordered the big batch. I will say, the service was GREAT. The cook and the little lady who took our order - super nice.

Fish Sandwich/soup - chowder (my wife did not eat the bread - weight thing)
3 Beer Batter Fish/Fries
Water
$14.50 (we stayed under $20) - Budget friendly for sure here
